Useful road, place and topography map of Iceland
The map has good detail of the entire road network, not just the fabled Route 1 circular road around Iceland. Places and facilities are on the map and are easy to understand. Physical features - the topography of the landscape, including the names and heights of the well known (and lesser known) mountains, volcanoes and ice sheets/glaciers are present as are the courses of rivers and lakes. So overall a very useful map of Iceland, produced in Austria with a key of features written in German, Icelandic and English (in that order).
My only criticism is that the map is printed on both sides of somewhat thin paper which is fine if it is kept dry inside a vehicle but would possibly tear if taken outside into the rain and gusty winds typical of the weather of Iceland. For this reason I rated the map 4 stars out of 5.

Ambient synth heaven!

Space rock instrumentals to soothe the soul
The Spacelords are a German trio of musicians who play bass guitar, lead guitar and drums. There are other percussive and synthesized sounds but in essence they are a three piece band with years of experience between them.
The tracks are all instrumental so there is no singing and no jyrics.
The style of music can loosely be termed 'space rock' but it is the interplay between them which is so appealing. At times they sound ponderously heavy, only to be followed by a sensitive delicacy. Their sound should appeal to those who enjoy Gong, Ozric Tentacles and Hawkwind as long as you don't expect singing.
The album the standard length of an LP: 40 plus minutes; the CD has no extra tracks. Spacelords are on a mainly vinyl - only label Tonzonen which generally have limited press runs. I bought a CD copy as it was half the price of the LP.
