The PS3 Slim 250gb by Nick Davies
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich First let me start by saying I am a huge gaming fan and have owned the 60gb Ps3 since its launch almost 3 years ago. It served me well until recently when the dreaded YLOD struck, so I decided to get a 250gb Ps3 slim to replace it.
So to facts the slim is quieter, lighter has more storage capacity and uses less power, It is not likely to overheat and when switched on looks the biz with the button icons lighting white and traditional green and blue leds above the power and disc eject buttons.
Disc read speed is a little slower, the blu rays and games seem to take a fraction longer to load, but its not going to be noticeable if you haven't owned the fatter system.
Gone are the card reader slots and 2 x usb ports, but to be honest you don't really need them, I have an eye toy connected to one of the 2 ports on offer and the other is used to charge pads or plug in a Psp, which once synced acts as a marvelous device for watching files from your pc on your lounge TV through your Ps3,plug in an 8gb memory stick duo and it acts as a portable drive capable of playing and transferring loads of file types that work on the ps3 and really increases usage of the system.
To surmise unless you have an enormous collection of ps2 games and still love playing them, there is no reason to own the 60gb version, if you want efficient, top notch HD gaming and media functionality the Ps3 slim 250gb is the only system for you.

The Dark Knight (Blu-Ray)
I saw this on I Max when it first came out and couldn`t wait for the blu ray release needless to say it dosn't dissapoint, an excellent film made even better by its 1080p goodness oh for all those 360 fans its just another reason to own a ps3.
