Does the job but not well finished.
Sturdy panels but slightly flimsy hinges. Easy to assemble. Paint finish was quite poor, especially in the paw cutouts which are rough and lacking paint.

Tough and refined
In my view, there's no need to spend more £$ on the Saltiga and Stella level reels. The Saltist is tough, refined and performs well under harsh conditions.

Not great
Not cheap but fairly nasty. The recessed part is fine and mounts well. But the cover feels brittle and has a cheap glossy appearance. The hinge arrangement is a couple of moulded plastic pins that have to be forced into recesses in the frame and the closure catch is equally poor. All look very vulnerable to breakage.
