Wordy tome
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich I suppose if I was in jail with no distractions, I could enjoy just about any book. This is one of those... Seriously outdated style and extremely descriptive about minute details.
Balzac never let's up on the comparative phrases. I was waiting for a description of a rock next to the path and it's philosophical metaphor connecting to his seriously depressing love life.
Laborious reading.

Quality DVD
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich One must appreciate the timeframe in which it was produced. Sure there might be a few jokes that fall flat by today's standards, but I still found it enjoyable. There is sexual innuendo throughout. You just have to look for it.
Breaking new ground is not difficult it seems anymore. Any trash out there can burst a taboo. Doesn't make it necessarily good though. And this one is.
I'll watch it once more and probably sell it or give it away.

plastic bushings
The two vertical bars (one under mirror, one attached to wall) have slides for the scissor mechanism to function. The (4) plastic bushings are very tight and begin to work their way out. Mine will soon be a rattling, loose, sagging, hard to position scissor mechanism.
Too bad since the actual mirror is very clear.
Maybe I can fashion a tool to press the plastic bushing back in. A very light oil on the vertical bars might keep the friction down enough so they don't get pulled out.
I just noticed this happening and thought it was good review time. I use it every day to put in then take out my contacts and it has been about a month.
