Possibly a receiver who will become a legend
Everything about this receiver is top of the line. The first series included an ESS chip that only has the 110 year anniversary version.
The sound of this machine is enormous, not only in clarity but also in power. With other receivers, one can hear a characteristic HISS coming from the amplifiers at very high volume; not with the x8500, everything is in complete control, which makes the effects of a movie a fun experience, because you can be listening to silence and suddenly a gunshot or an effect that shakes your seat.
I believe that this receiver, due to its magnificent characteristics and the high level it gives to sound and video processing, will occupy a privileged place in the history of receivers, because just by looking at Denon's new flagship you will discover that although it has 4 channels More processing does not have the connectivity and resources that the X8500 has.
Personally I don't plan to ever sell mine, it will cost a lot more in the future and it would be a huge mistake.

It is not the original but looks great and works perfectly.
