The Warm World of Martin Buxbaum,is warm & delightful.
I am the youngest daughter of the author of this book, the late Martin Buxbaum. I bought my father's book because I wanted to share it again with friends, but some of his books are hard to find. There is so much bad news in the world today. It is hard sometimes to watch the evening reports or look at the front page of the paper. Even our movies have become so violent. But there remains in the world some things that can still give you comfort, let you close the door to the stress that is outside, and make you feel comfortable once more.
This little book is one of those delights that encompasses the emotions of a man passionately in love with life, and always wanting to share his tenderness and wit with others. The Warm World of Martin Buxbaum combines four of the former books he had written (Rivers of Thought,The Underside of Heaven, Whispers in the Wind,and Once Upon a Dream,) but also new material he had written at that time called "Psalms of the Lotus." I like this book because you can pick it up and open it to any page and read. After thrity-three years, The Warm World of Martin Buxbaum still remains warm...and delightful to read.
