stable, effectively large ledge, many tilt angles, top corners protected, one of the best.
It is a great book stand with special clips. The ledge does not fold down for laptop or writing. The clip design actually extends the book ledge for displaying thick books. I found this stand to have the largest ledge in my limited search when including the hinge gap and high large clips. Very convenient for reading smaller books as it takes less table space. I love this book stand. The corner on the top are protected. Has large number of tilt angles available. It is very stable as the small stand is supported by a relatively large back support. I love this book stand fo rbooks only as a companion for a larger book stand.
I wish they would make a 16 inch version and exend the ledge in thw middle of the clips .

Product great but had to return due to a technical misundrstanding
I have several of this and is a great product. This particular unit had to be returned due to technical reasons
I highly recommend this discontinuned model
