Italian magic
I’ve always used an alum block to deal with shaving nicks , but this great little tube from Proraso stops any bleeding immediately and closes any cuts. The cuts heal right away and don’t re-open at the next shave!
No idea how it works, but it does!

Soft as a kitten!
A beautiful brush, with a long handle that provides a very sure grip. A small loft, but the hair is wonderfully soft. It's like pressing your face into the fur of a particularly fluffy cat! The loft holds enough lather for two or three passes. As it is so soft, I've found that it is perhaps best suited to shaving creams rather than soaps. I have tried applying cream directly to the brush, and also lathering up cream that I've rubbed into my beard. Either way, it works perfectly. Dries very quickly - I don't think there's any need for a brush stand.
For such a low price, this is an outstanding brush. Hugely good-looking.

Little Wonder!
Extraordinarily compact, but when assembled it's almost full-sized.The razor in its real-leather pouch fits easily in the palm of my hand. Light in weight but still easy to control. Well-finished, and unmistakably a Merkur.
