Crime drama at its best and worst !
Having found the first book by this author by mistake, in a mixed bundle , I was instantly drawn in by the believable characters, intricate storyline and snatches of humour and have subsequently read all books in the series. The crimes are gruesome and complex - hence the "worst" in the review title.The Botanist is by far the best in a compelling series . For anyone who likes a crime story that you have to think about, please try M W Craven - he hasn't won awards for nothing - I'm waiting on the release of the next book.
