Mixed Bag
The blue one took very little to fix, the black one is still a problem, due to a badly bent nib and a ruined feed.
They are a good value if you know how to work on them.

DVD-CD super drive
Eventually I got the drive installed. It works perfectly.

Jinhao x450 fountain pen
Excellent value for the money. The pen is heavy and rather large, ideal for big hands. The nib is more of a medium than a broad, but this is true of Chinese fountain pens. It also needed a bit of smoothing, but is is fine the way it comes. Ink flow is quite even and the pen starts writing without having to fight the "first" ink out of it.
