Reading up on topic this may not be an issue as shutter time not driven from this display. Will be replacing the seals and testing out with film in the next few weeks.

He was also very helpful in our pre-bid exchanges about the camera and lens. The owner displayed knowledge of the item under auction. The camera body is now with Asahi Photo for a full service and calibration, which will leave me with a perfectly functioning Pentax LX. The combined cost of buying the body and lens, and of the service is competitive for what I will then own.

Perfect for the ball-bearings in the sliding rails of my oven!
Remarkable stuff - the temperature range is phenomenal.
My oven cleaner guy did a really good job of cleaning my oven, BUT when dipping the oven rails in his cleaner, he completely removed all the grease from the sliding runners.
So the slides were horrible clunky and juddery.
A dab of this grease made everything lovely and smooth again. Even this 100ml tube should last decades, you don't use much.

Not bedtime reading - but essential reference
There may be some people who are interesting in number plates for their own sake - the author appears to be one such.
But for the rest of us...
Imagine how easy life would be for a family historian or genealogist if everyone in a photograph was labelled with their age. This would mean any photograph could be easily placed within a narrow date range.
That's not going to happen.
But with this book, it IS TRUE for vehicles, and (as a bonus) the county of registration can also be known.
This is very valuable indeed.
