Great snare for the price! Made in Japan!
This snare has a great tuning range. It's loud and sensitive out of the box. Very light weight drum. If you're a heavy rimshot drummer you will probably have to change the rims to some 2.3mm or diecast. It comes with a very thin 1.6 mm hoops that produce very decent rim click. Throw off is not fancy but gets the job done. I would recommend it for a drummer who plays funk, pop, pop rock, latin, fusion.

Great condenser mic for the price! Sounds much better than my old dynamic audix f2 on toms in my opinion.
