GREAT love story for both men and women
I don't know what movie one of the other reviewers saw when they wrote that the actors did a poor job, because they did a GREAT job!
It's fun to watch Richard Dreyfuss in this role, he must enjoyed himself doing the role too!
This is truly a GREAT love story! One that men can enjoy too along with the women.

Looking for the DIRECTOR's CUT or EXTENDED version?
5 von 5 finden das hilfreich This is a great sequel to the original movie The Man From Snowy River, except for the fact that there is one important scene that Disney failed to include in this 1988 release to theaters and so isn't on this DVD.
You can get the entire restored version (Director's Cut) in Anamorphic Widescreen on a Region 4 DVD from Australia right here on EBAY.
Just do a search for Snowy River 2 or Snowy River II. And then look for it in the listings. The movie that you'd be looking for is called The Man from Snowy River II.
In order to play a Region 4 DVD you'll need a region Free player, go to videohelp dot com and do a search for your player to see if your player can convert to Worldwide to play DVDs from all Regions.
The scene that is missing from the Region 1 Fullscreen Disney DVD and is restored back in the movie in the Region 4 Widescreen Director's Cut is the wedding of Jim Craig & Jessica Harrison which takes place just barely before the end of the movie.
