Ideal for sports bikes
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Fitted one of these to my 2003 R1. The worst part is cutting out the original foam seat to accept it. I started off with a Stanley knife to get the bulk out but ideal to finely sculpt is a little wire brush attachment to a cordless drill; that worked perfectly. I sat mine about 6mm low, then covered the gel pad with 10mm blue foam. Then the entire seat with 15mm memory foam then covered all of that with 6mm blue foam. I bought a new vinyl seat cover in basketweave with R1 logo and fitted that over everything. Sounds bulky to read this but its not, the foam compresses nicely and the seat has a more rounded than square edge. The seat is VERY comfortable and unique of course. Took me about 4 hours in total but well worth it.
