It seems most model kits now have some metal photo etched parts in the box now so getting the right tool for the job is essential. I kept putting it off buying one using long nosed pliers or steel rulers or anything else I could think would bend the metal, but in the end I had to buy this item. Glad I did it makes sense.

Takom models

No problems with this Takom model , Goes together easy just like a Tamiya model only difference is the detail that is molded onto the plastic. All fits into place but there is a lot of cleaning up to do when you cut it from the spruce. Easy build but the detail is very good.
