Timeless classic
This was a return to form for Davis after long hiatus. While some may scoff at the cheesy "gangsta" cover, the music is good with some outstanding originals (and a Cyndi Lauper cover version). Davis as always relies on up and coming musicians to carry out his vision and here it is no different with John Scofield doing great guitar work.

An excellent and compelling revisionist view of the early XX century and its protagonists
If you are a Churchill worshiper, you will not enjoy reading this well-written book. If you are open minded you may find plenty here to agree with. Pat Buchanan boldly states that Churchill presided over the decline of the British Empire and that he was to a large degree responsible for this decline. While this is written from American perspective, it is a well researched and clearly argued text. Much recommended.

Brilliant
Good version of this popular record. Remastered but preserving tonality, and adding excellent bonus track.
