An oldie, but goody.
A simple device that is easy to use, and easy to read. I had one of these and my wife borrowed it to compare steps walked against her iPhone. Omron right on, iPhone way off. Device attached to belt delivers better results. This model HJ-150 doesn't have all the features of the newer units, but it has exactly what we need, steps and miles.

Squealing problem solved
I have been dealing with a squealing condition whenever I would start my 1950 Mercury with a BBC engine. It has a March Performance serpentine belt system and after replacing the belt twice (Gates and Dayco) the squeal remained. I then replaced the tensioner, even though it did not seam weak, but this didn't get it either. Finally after watching a YouTube video about serpentine belts, the person making the video said he only uses Goodyear Gatorback belts because the run the quietest. I installed this Gatorback belt and the startup squeal is gone.
Note: Goodyear Gatorback is now called Continental Elite.
