Amazingly bad seals

Not wanting to buy cheap brake seals (buy cheap buy twice) I went for the more expensive Brakemaster seals and was I disappointed? The original seal in my caliper had jammed between the piston and the cylinder so I had to wrench it our with pliers but it remained intact when I finally got it out. I put in the new seals and as i inserted the brand new piston it was tight so I withdrew it to add more lube and noticed the dust seal had frayed! Thinking this was how they are and perhaps some excess rubber wearing off I reinserted the piston a few mm and the seal snapped in half! I then went and ordered some Cheap seals(half the price unbranded and fitted them and no problem at all. I have fitted many caliper seals and never in my long life have seen such weak rubber for brake seals. If Brakemaster made condoms then the population of the world would be 10 times more than it is now! Do not listen to the hype about cheap seals because the expensive ones are sometimes trash.like these brakemaster seals
