Excellent Lens

This is an excellent lens. Images are very sharp. As everyone has said it is heavy at 6+ lbs and it is really well made. Very solid. The zoom ring is a little cumbersome, but I've found that just pulling and pushing the the lens to zoom works very well. I've had good luck with locking AF onto fast moving birds with it.

Very stable and flexible, well made

Very sturdy. Easy and quick to adjust. Great flexibility with Ball Head. Good craftsmanship. Only drawback is that its heavy, but that was expected.
