Low noise! The Crystalizer sound effect improved my external speakers! Well worth the price.
Very easy to install.
The sound effect options are interesting and fun to try out. For speaking & movies & TV & videos, the only sound effect I use is "Crystalizer" at 80% to 90% (it improves the sound of my external speakers). For some types of music, I set a sound effect that the driver installation app provides, such as Amphitheater.
The audio quality appears to be on par with competitors (such as RealTek), yet better when I use "Crystalizer". Also, this sound card has less noise than when I plug my external speaker into the motherboard's audio port, and this reason (less noise) was why I purchased the 1st sound card.

This sound card improved the Signal to Noise ratio to my speakers!!! The Crystalizer sound effect improves the quality of my speakers! Great $ value!
Excellent sound card and audio driver. The ''Crystalizer'' software application (that is part of the manufacturer's driver) noticeably improves the sound of my external speakers (with dual 6 inch woofers). This sound card also improves the Signal to Noise (S/N) ratio of the audio output to my speakers. When I use the speaker jack of my motherboard (a Gigabyte Z97x-UD5H) there is a lot of background noise (a hissing sound), yet when after I installed this sound card (just plug it into an available matching port onto the motherboard), the hissing sound was reduced very much and is hardly noticeable (at the same comparative volume).
The audio driver includes several sound altering effects (e.g., add some reverberation or a slight-echo).
There are more expensive sound cards on the market, and I've bought a more expensive card, yet this card is an excellent $ value.

The PSB Imagine B sounds good, yet (like most speakers above $500 retail) I don't think they are worth paying retail $ price.
The PSB Imagine B sounds semi-similar (in a side-by-side comparison) to British made QUAD 12L, that is, boomy bass & mid range yet with repressed (low volume) mid frequency. In order to hear vocals OK, especially with bass heavy rock music, I needed to turn up the mid range frequency via my preamplifier or amplifier. I noticed that many speakers have a boomy bass sound or nasal that is both warm yet annoying because it means these speakers and most speakers I heard (note: I've listened to dozens of different bookshelf speakers and floorstanders) aren't good for listening to audio of TV or movies/videos.
On the positive side: These speakers are warm and sound almost as good as speakers that cost almost twice as much (such as QUAD 12L). I was able to raise the volume through these speakers that was close to ear-damaging loud volume with little breakup of sound.
Subjective comment: Considering how popular boomy sounding speakers are, I suspect the majority of the human population isn't as critical an audiophile as me (note: I studied classical violin and want a speaker that sounds true to the real audio source without altering the sound, and sadly most speakers (even expensive B&W speakers I heard) alter the sound).
If you want & like a boomy warm sound, then these speakers might be a good choice for you. People's ears are different from person to person, so just because I'm NOT a fan of these speakers doesn't necessarily mean someone else won't enjoy hearing them.
