Easier to hear phone
I bought this phone because I was always having trouble hearing people on my old land line. Although it has helped me to hear people much much better, I have to keep it set to the lowest volume because with some calls it is way too loud. With those calls, I keep the earpiece away from my ear somewhat. I am in my 40's so maybe an older person would do better with that. The only other thing I want to say is that the dialtone takes a couple of seconds to get going so you need to wait and make sure you can dial out and it is kind of annoying. I like the way the earpiece (receiver) is heavier than most and it feels good on your ear and head. Another great option is the way the telephone lights up when a call comes in because I don't usually keep the ringer on.

Reflexes, Learning and Behavior
WONDERFUL, AMAZING, INSIGHTFUL, INCREDIBLE! This book helps an educator like myself understand the effects of retained primitive reflexes and overall weakness in today's child. Primitive reflexes still dominate a child's body and don't turn into postural reflexes like they should due to being born C-section, back sleeping, babies being put in contraptions rather than down on the floor, practicing their movements. The book explains how retained reflexes will cause sensory integration problems for the child and the devastating effects for later learning and behavior. I was always wondering why I was seeing delayed children one after the other and now the puzzle is solved! Now I can tell parents how to get the appropriate exercise programs to inhibit these reflexes and let the child develop postural reflexes to boost self esteem and regulate sensory systems.
I would highly recommend this book to all parents, especially new parents so they can understand the sequence of early motor movement that needs to take place on their child's body before moving to the next stage of development. Learning dysfunctions can be prevented. Every educator, therapist of any kind and doctors should have a copy.
