Good value for the price.
Video quality at all resolutions is very good, but the area of sky near the Sun tends to be washed out. Apart from that, the video is sharp, detailed and clear with lively colours. The lowlight performance is above average and remains sharp. The image stabilisation is smooth and does a good job. It would have been good if there was a car mode with this model, as it gets a lot of use as a dashcam. The UI is clear and simple to use. It loses a star on one thing though: whenever the camera is a operating for a long period, it fails to record any video and will only record the audio, so I have to switch it off and let the unit cool down. I suspect the micro SD card (a SanDisk Ultra 64GB) I'm using isn't able to keep up. I'll try their Extreme Pro card to see if that helps. Also the audio for in car use is average and sounds a little like a rocket. But minor niggles aside, this is still a very good action camera for the money.

The camera that punches above its weight!
I have this camera and I can tell you it's packed with features such as a 16x zoom, a 24mm wide-angle, optical image stabiliser, full HD video recording with sound. The picture quality is excellent at all focal lengths and the wide-angle macro performance has to be seen to be believed! It is very compact and can be slipped into a pocket. A great camera that's so much fun to use. Buy it, you really won't regret it.

Excellent value
This Sigma lens is sharp, especially at the 50mm end, and is well made, with a metal lens mount, unlike the Nikon DX 55-200mm. The very best results are between f8 and f11. It focusses down to just over 3 feet, which although not quite macro, is still good for most of the flower photography I do. It also has image stabilisation, which while not as effective as a marque lens, is still very useful for most situations, although there is no substitute for a tripod for some subjects. Overall, this lens is highly recommended.
