The belt loop snaps appear to be a good idea.

Appears to be well made. Only time will tell how it holds up with use.

Holster pouch

I love the pouch. The only problem is sometimes, when using the clip, getting in and out of my car I have to be careful that it doesn't catch and gets pulled off by my jacket. This can be resolved using the belt loops. I haven't used it long enough to remark on it's durability.
