Aluminium Flight Case Case Tool Box With Trolley
As an amateur astronomer I use it for storing/transporting my Celestron C6 SCT. It fits with the finderscope and/or a red dot finder attached. A little bit of room spare but no space for any accessories, (i.e. 1.25" star diagonal, focal reducer, eyepieces). I purchased one several years ago from the same seller and just ordered another to store/transport my Meade ETX-105 & TeleVue Ranger too.
The only downsides are...
1. It does not include a foam insert.
2. It does not include a lock or padlock.
3. I would not use it over rough or muddy ground due to the size of the 'smallish' wheels. Strap it on to a camping/gig trolley instead.

How beautiful nature really is
I have the book 'Universe | 365 days' and is an ideal companion to it. It is also by the same authors. When you look at the images, it makes you think how beautiful nature really is; whether it is here on Earth or in the universe.

wide angle/low power amatuer astronomy project
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I am planning to make a cheap pair of low power, (approx. 1.5-2.0X), widefield binoculars after seeing an article on a well known amatuer astronomy forum. Included in the box are 1x lens, 1x pouch and lens caps, (the rear ones are threaded too).
I have got someone to make a pair of 3D-printed frames for them and they arrived at the end of last week. The ones I ordered are all black, (images shown for show only). I just have to secure the conversion lenses into the frames with a suitable adhesive so they do not fall out when in use.
I have tested them on a 'dry run', (i.e. not glued), and seem to be ok.
