Not woodpecker friendly.
This feeder is perfect for small birds, even larger birds such as Blackbirds, Thrushes and Starlings are able to stand on the tray and help themselves. The only downside is a family of greater spotted Woodpeckers find the tray an obstacle due to the position they adopt for feeding, so I have to use the old style nut feeder for them.

Bit of a drag.
I'm on the fence with this product. The idea is good but where they can be fitted is rather limited. I currently have them fitted to coach bogies to provide lighting. There is a lot of drag preventing the wheels freely running as there is a fine line at the point of contact. Too heavy and you run the risk of no wheel rotation, and too light and losing power due to movement. I have fitted them to all four pairs of wheels to prevent flickering when running over points and dead spots of rail gaps. Perhaps this is over doing it. Another product by the same maker to do the same thing is on order, hopefully this will provide what I require.

DETAIL
These buckets add the small detail that makes a toy become a model. Very well made, much stronger than they look. The handles although finely made are firmly attached and the sand is a good touch. they can be hung or stood where they look best. A good addition to any layout.
