Perfect.

New coalfields, new towns.
This book was an interesting read about a 20th Century phenomena.
Prior to this, in the older mining districts around Barnsley, grew as the demand for coal increased, expanding previous settlements, many since the time of the Domesday book.
Not so these new towns, starting with an blank (or green) sheet of paper it is fascinating to see how the homes for miners developed and grew into towns.
Today's planners, given that we are 100 years later, could well follow some of the ideas in this book.
