Dunlop banjo capo
Simple and easy to use. I have this capo rest on the banjo's nut when not in use, then just slide it to any fret as needed. One caution though, if your banjo has a thin nut, like many imports have, the capo my not stay on the nut.
The small size of the capo is nice, as it don't get in the way of my left hand fingering like some bigger capo's do. An added plus is that you never lose it.
I have a friend that has been using this style of capo for over 30 years on his 1923 Gibson banjo and won't use any other kind. That says something.

These work very well on my homemade nylgut strung banjo. I haven't tried them with steel strings, so can't comment on that, but for synthetic strings, they perform flawlessly. They look real nice, too.

Inexpensive but works
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich These harmonicas work well for what I do. I play traditional folk styles of music and use harmonicas with a neck holder while playing banjo (mostly) and singing. These are very easy to get clean single notes from as they are not as sensitive as the more expensive ones (I have several of those, too) which ring with harmonics and pick up notes from nearby reeds as well. As a bonus, the plastic top and bottom shells don't stick to a persons lips as much as the metal ones do. This doesn't mean you should replace your collection of more expensive harmonicas. The better harmonicas do have better overall tone. The Blue Ice Harmonicas are a good choice for when a simple, clean note is preferred over a rich note filled with resonate harmonics.
The little zip up carrying case is nice, too.
Now, if only Hohner would make these in E, F, A and Bb. I'd buy them.
