Great Traditional Cookbook
This is a great traditional cookbook designed for convalescent cooking back at a time when cooking for the betterment of health was a novel concept. Food preferences have changed greatly over the last 100+ years but many of the recipes feature beef and chicken, etc. and work well with a more modern diet. Also interesting are the ads in the back of the book which feature Boston-area products that were popular in the late 1890's.
