BMW X5 E70 6.5 INFO NAVIGATION MONITOR SCREEN INFORMATION DISPLAY

Second hand part. Navigation monitor arrived by UPS within two weeks. Packaging was large, but not sufficient filling was added to prevent the part from moving around when handled. As a result, the two plastic pieces keeping the electrical cable to the monitor in place both were broken off. This is however not critical for the installation. The second hand monitor works apart from the light diminishing function. Reason is most probably that the electronics for this part has failed. As it also failed on my old monitor, I suspect that this is a systematic failure.
