A Necessary Reinvestment
Rubber fails, that's what I was thinking when I installed the first cadence sensor on my bike. I debated whether to try to mount the sensor on the pedal arm with a zip tie, but I figured Garmin knew what they were doing. They did not. The rubber straps broke on a steep descent and that cadence sensor was never to be seen again. I personally believe cadence sensors are essential to bike training and exercise and except for the rubber straps, the sensor is flawless and dependable and I love that there are no magnets to mount. If this one falls off after five months like the previous one, I'll purchase another right away, but with a nasty letter to Garmin. If there's a more durable way to mount the sensor I'd love to know, but I wouldn't want to ride without it.

Lightweight and Does What It Promises
Obviously, you need to buy into the Look pedal ecosystem, whether it's Look Keo or Blades. The main thing about these is that they actually grip on pavement and other surfaces and far exceed any other cleats I have had, not counting shoes with recessed locations for cleats, for walking on usually treacherous surfaces during those necessary moments when you need to grab water or nourishment from a convenience store or use their facilities, or just walking to the garage to drive to the bike trail. I like LOOK pedals because they are lightweight and they tend to be innovative in their approach to cycling. The cleats do what they promise.

Power Up
It's simple. It works. The accuracy is within pro peloton specs. It looks elegant and works perfectly with my Specialized Tarmac. It connects to Bluetooth and Ant+. If you've already got your crank, you simply swap out the arms. You can adjust rings and/or length of the pedal arms.
