Great saw, poor blades.
The saw works fantastic. My problem is with the blade. It made 10 cuts in pipe and then quit cutting. I can't see any chipped teeth etc, they still feel sharp but won't even start to make a kerf. I switched to another blade and it cuts fine, just isn't an 8 inch one. My advice is to get some extra blades, otherwise it's a great saw. And yes, I have used cold saws for about 5 years now, so I know to feed them slow and let it do the work.

It fits well, I feel safe with it on and know that it won't stop a brick but it offers great protection. I am a wood turner and also do a lot of grinding on metal and it is still clear after a year of use. This second one is for my winter home in AZ so I don't have to keep hauling it back and forth. Great product, it may be a little pricey but the coatings make it worth it. I have had cheaper ones but they don't measure up to this one.

After installing it I put some gas in the tank and it would only slow down the flow when I tried to shut it off. Too late to send it back
