Hard not to laugh
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich One of my favorite parts in the Mario's RPG spinoffs is the writing, the humor is clear and clever and adds a lot to the world and it's cast. Another thing the Mario & Luigi has in spades in the combat system. This was the first time every part of the battle was fleshed out to keep the action interesting, which was only improved by being unique for every enemy you faced. Building a great story and a fun experience makes this a great piece I'm happy to add to my collection.

Fine member of a great series
The Mario & Luigi series has long been one of the most fun uses of Mario's universe. The first game was an instant classic and this DS follow up expands the gameplay in the most logical direction, using 4 characters instead of just 2. The change is pulled off seamlessly and make a point to use the larger playable cast and dual screens for exploring the game world as well as combat. The excellent humor is still there, but some have regarded it as a weaker entry after the series' lightning in a bottle introduction. On it's own merits, it's a really great game, though and you should consider picking up a copy for yourself some time.

Satisfying but best left for collectors
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The "lost" aerialbot is a slight retool of Firefly, may personal favorite of the aerialbot limb, so a lot of my enjoyment comes from that. Except for the slick white paintjob and new head, Quickslinger brings nothing new to the table. He does the job filling out a G1 lineup or just replacing whichever mass release you liked the least. SInce he even comes packed with the same weapon and hand/foot gun Firefly had, I found some added enjoyment making Firefly dual wield flamethrowers, but that's just me liking my symmetry.
The biggest fault on this toy is the fact he was an awkward limited release. Had he been mass released, I would have said a definite buy, but the aftermarket upcharge adds a sting that may dilute your enjoyment of an otherwise well done toy.
