Same as original
My electric cooler gets plenty of use, as I am a long haul driver. Like others, my plug eventually became misshapen due to heat, and failed on the road. Thanks to a previous reviewer, I saved my food by splicing another plug to my cord (obtained from a $15 12v two-into-one adapter).
I've noticed that my spliced plug does not get nearly as hot as the original did, and the new cord is an exact replacement...so, I keep the replacement cord as a backup, while I continue to use my spliced cord.
