Excellent for what it is!!!

Well I saw the first review and so whole heartedly dis agreed that I wrote this. I've reduced movies and played 2 hours w/o a problem. Only can sup[oss he ripped his down too small for an action movie, the only thing I've found is the 64k colors makes some colors out of gammit and the default is a bright orange (yeck) only happened with an animated movie so far. Gizmo(?) phone works fine and I use it at 1.9 cents a minute, saves on my cell phone. And I have yet to do any of the linux tricks, like becoming root so I can have access to as many programs as I can load on a 2gb card.

Still a great camera

OK I rated this as only 'Good' largely as it has become dated and higher res lighter cameras are available today 7/9/7, I bought it for it's features, it meters my older manual focus AI lenses, and it has faster, smarter auto focus than my D70. Also it is a well sealed camera if I need to shoot an assignment in poor weather. Features you can't find in a camera under $1400 today (and I'm not sure the auto focus isn't better than the D200)

Give scorps a chance...lol.

I find scorps to work well for me, I have large hands and like being able to see the cutting edge somewhat easier than a gouge.
