New Remote Control Chris Craft Runabout Cruiser Racing Speed Boat

Nice boat for displaying .

When I received the boat in the post I noticed how well packed it was! It was a lovely looking craft and looked good as a display model. However it would not operate, and the company quickly replaced it with a workable one! I particularly liked the choice of using the rechargeable power pack or batteries and although no instructions were present, it was very easy to operate and understand. There were though safety instructions saying it should not be operated out of the water, this I carefully followed! On it's first trip out it performed very well, easy to manouver and looked very impressive on the water. It did though take on board a little water but naturally after use I carefully dried it thoroughly and checked the power pack and batteries before storing away! On it's second trip out in the water It was not long before one propeller refused to respond, so naturally it circled round and round in the middle of the pond and out of reach. The second propeller also then failed to respond and I had to wait a number of hours for the wind to blow the boat back too me. On examining the boat I found the power pack and batteries to be fine, and even on replacing with new batteries and a fully recharged power pack the boat was completely unresponsive and remains so. I have not bothered to send it back as it's just so much hassle, and takes up too much of my time, so it remains a display model only!!
