Mixed minor improvement over DVD.
2 von 3 finden das hilfreich Very nice collection by Kino International. Since I recently purchased HiDef equipment I wanted to see Buster in 1080 Blu-ray glory. Having watched them all I came away with a true appreciation of why film preservation is so important and how much these great films have been damaged by time. I have the Kino "Art of Buster Keaton" set on DVD and the main difference I noticed was that the Blu-ray higher resolution in most cases only showed more graininess and film damage than the DVD release without adding more clarity, which I realize just isn't there in the poor state of preservation most of these films are in. Cops is a notable exception and is probably the best of the bunch in terms of condition. Will I spend more money on the rest of his films in Blu-ray? Probably not, since my DVD set is about as good as it gets. In some respect the lower resolution leaves out some of the film damage that the Blu-ray shows.

Great little feature packed pre-amp.
Just like everybody else here I think it is an excellent little preamp. Excellent sound quality, for a very affordable price. I recently bought my second one, because my more expensive preamp wasn't as good.

No better than my 4 year old stock battery.
As the title states, it is no better than my FOUR YEAR OLD stock battery which is rated at half the capacity this one is supposed to be. The battery runs out in the early evening just like my old one did. I am going to put the old one back in use because the stock plate is better made than the one that comes with this battery.
