Life during the civil war.

This film was very well done, well written, we'll cast and acted. Probably an accurate portrayal of life during the Civil was in the U.S. It was depressing though. Natalie Portman's part in it was very short and sad. The whole story is sad, there's nothing uplifting about it. I don't recommend it as a feel good movie, it is such a downer. The civil war was such a horrible, terrible time. If you want to get a feeling of what that was like, then this film is for you.

A classic for the vintage aircraft enthusiast.

The film is well done with beautiful footage of vintage aircraft, The Antoinette, Demoiselle and others. There are plenty of silly story lines that make it a family friendly flick, however the early flying aircraft is what I bought it for having seen it years ago as a child.

Not a "feel good" movie.

It was delivered in a timely manner in good condition, but the story is difficult to watch. The film is well made, top notch acting, but the French Inquisition is a very dark piece of history most graphically illustrated in this film. It left me feeling nauseated, not likely I will ever watch it again.
