Nostalgic, very good transfer
I bought these for a bit of nostalgia: used to love watching Tarzan - especially the Johnny Weismuller films. Glad to have them available to watch (and in order, too!).
The DVDs I received were double-sided, and the titles on the packaging were in French, although the labels on the centre of the disk were in English. Haven't seen them all yet, but the transfer to DVD is a good one: picture quality is excellent, although sound is basic.
The special effects were better than I thought (as a kid I found them convincing, but...) The only time I found them jarring (I couldn't stop myself laughing through the whole scene) was when there were giant spiders surrounding "Boy".
