Good for awkwardly steep slopes and difficult or small lawn spaces.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich It's as light in use as a lawn mower can possibly be and is especially useful for steep slopes. Its 10" metal blade doesn't make it easy to use and before you know it things become more like vacuuming the carpet rather than cutting the grass with up and down strokes necessary to be effective. However, it does do the job and on a small normally-flat lawn it will save the physical effort required with a larger electric or petrol powered mower. I use it as an ancillary for slope and small awkward lawn spaces or edges and it performs exactly as I thought it would. Like most Flymo's it appears reliable in use and the blade is cheaply replaceable or simply re-sharpens easily and quickly. No grass collector bin but with a mower of this variety it tends to mulch the cuttings so it's not entirely necessary and avoids adding weight to it in usage. Effective little mower but it takes some physical effort in use because of its small size and resulting minimum 'hover' height available. Forget it for medium sized lawns.....you'll be at it all day!
