Too noisy
Way too noisy. Couldn't use it.

Slide adjust Olfa is great
I debated over getting an Olfa with the knob adjust vs slide adjust, and based on another reviewer decided on the slide adjust. So glad I did when using the long (non segmented) blades because I'm constantly extending it way out, and then retracting it for safety. I like this knife (LA-X 1072198).

Castings very poor quality on the one I got
The castings have problems, LOTS of flash on the ones I got, but you may get lucky. I haven't done it yet, but I think careful carving on them with a good knife may clean it up. But overall, pretty unhappy with it.
Just looking at it again, it may be easier to take a piece of clay and start from scratch, make a mold, and pour some metal in. Oh my.
