Works as it should.
Price was good. Shipping was sufficiently fast. I have been using it extensively this summer and it works like new.

It broke first try
My 5 year old grand daughter tried it first and the gears came apart. It is possible that the crank was turned in the wrong direction but there is no indication on the device as to which direction to turn the crank.
I removed the case screws and put the gears back in place. Turning clockwise (when using my right hand) felt smoother than counter-clockwise.
I tried charging my cell phone to see if it works. After a few minutes I could not determine whether it was working so I gave up.
I hope to never have to rely on this device.
I think it would be better to buy a hand crank radio that can also charge cell phones because they appear to be more robust.
