Good multithreaded CPU

Upgraded my six year old processor with this and it was easy to do. Of course AMD just released the 3700 so I wish I held out for that. This CPU works fine, but I can’t tell if it’s much faster at compiling (multithreaded) than my 6 year old intel i7. Supposed to be but not the night and day difference I was hoping for.
