A qwerty android miracle from LG & OpenEtna
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I was looking for an Android based mobile phone with QWERTY keyboard, because I had earlier a Nokia E61i, since that, I can not imagine a phone without that, mainly not a WEB2 phone.
So my requests were the following:
-QWERTY keyboard
-Android operation system
-It can be upgradeable for Android 2.x
-New phone (I had a used phone, no more thx!)
-Not more, than $300 with shipping
I know, I know, these are hard targets, but as You see, I found my Precious. :)
The phone came with Android 1.5, Headset, usb cable, 2Gb SD card, and a wall connector for charging the phone through the usb cable. Not too much, not too less.
The LG hadn't yet upgraded the currently rom to Android 2.x operation system, BUT there are a bunch of programmer, who made this job before LG.
So after 15 minutes my phone was running with Android 2.2 (Froyo), witch is faster and better, than the original firmware.
With built-in GPS, accelerometer, digital compass, 5Mpixel camera with flash, HSDPA compatibility, Wifi I'm using the phone all the day, for navigating, online being.
Can not say a dislike option... Or maybe one, the touch-screen is not capacitive, just resistive, so not multi-touch.
I'm thinking to buy one to my girlfriend, too, but in pink colour, of course. :)
It's a must buy not just for geeks and nerds(like me), but also everyone.
