Four Stars for a truly professional high-quality trimmer
True improvement over my trusty Panasonic ER200. No more beard pulling or snagging of skin from his machine. Excellent power and precision.
There is one complaint reducing the stars to four: The machine is awfully loud and aggressive sounding, especially when you go towards the ears.

Flawed pull-string mechanism
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The problem with this unit is the opening for the pull-string: a sharp and unforgiving metal grommet that with time, bites into the fragile multi-strand nylon pull string, which will wear completely through after about a year or two of moderate use (I am on my second, only because I got a used one cheap on eBay). The rest of the unit is fine, and does its work as intended.

A Bit Old-Fashioned in Design But Delivers
This is my second purchase of a Deltran 0128 charger. My early version still delivers reliably, even in humid, rainy weather. (The weak spot of the old unit: the strain relief of the power and charging cables. The cable jackets have split, exposing bare copper wires at the juncture to the metal box.)
The charger is idiot-proof in operation, fault detection and safety. Plug it in, and it does its job, indicating what goes on and where we are in the charging cycle with a combination of steady or blinking red and green lights.
If you expect rapid charging, especially in an emergency or after a deep discharge of the battery (leaving the lights on, for example), don't buy this box. If you have the time for gentle charging that preserves the battery's electro-chemical integrity and durability, this is the charger to get. In its price class it remains the leader.
