This product doesn't appear to be any stronger than the original.
This trigger appears to be just like the original in every detail. When I compared the new to the old, I couldn't tell why this product is advertised as "extra strong," particularly near the hole on the arm that inserts into the trigger spring -- the point where the original cracked. Perhaps the plastic is slightly thicker. That being said, I installed it without alteration, and I trust that it will last three years like the original. And now I will have a spare along with the original trigger, which I glued and strengthened with small pieces of wire. It will be a crapshoot as to how many times my Dyson V10 Absolute can be taken apart and reassembled without damaging some other plastic part. I close by saying this project is not for the faint of heart and certainly not doable without the correct tools.

Good replacement control cable
Replacement for frozen control cable. Clipped off the old cable at carburetor end. Unbolted old cable at handle end. Removed and discarded. Installation of new cable took all of 10 minutes. Looked and fit like new. Adjusted cable, started mower and went to work. Enough said.
