Inexpensive Good Quality
This instrument is unique, with the sound of a clarinet crossed with a saxophone. It is solid and feels durable. It is not a toy. Played right, it can sound almost poetic, but it takes time to learn how to do that. It comes with two plastic reeds, but the player can substitute a real reed if desired. The way the fingers work on it is similar to a recorder but the fingering isn't the same. It comes with a schematic illustration showing what pitches are attained when the various holes are stopped. There is a bag for the instrument and a bag for the mouthpiece.

Sad, But Worthwhile
A moving, beautifully photographed story about simple people in the Deep South. All of the main characters are well acted. Unfortunately, Dan Montgomery seems to have disappeared completely, as has the director Purvis.
