it's a replacement chair base, it came quickly, and it fitted. Not really a lot more I can say....
It does what it;s supposed to, and it came quickly. Nt really a lot else I can say abut a seat base...

Sadly, the Metcalfe version is better in all respects
I want to be fair here - I've probably built every one of the original Superquick models over the past 50 years, and been very happy. This one just isn't as good as classics like the 'big' station, Goods Shed and The Swan. I found the roof tricky and fiddly, the wall sections on top very hard, and the doorway just didn't go together as it should. But most significantly, the brickwork doesn't look as right as Metcalfe's. Maybe if there wasn't an alternative I wouldn't be so critical, but there is, and it's better...
