Nice find.
Simple. It's a product I have been keeping an eye out for to add to my collection.

Great Value!
I am a model railroader and I decided to try out this product for use on my auto transport rail cars. The vehicles are listed as HO scale, and they are "compact" models, however, they still appear smaller over-all than the other HO vehicles I have in my collection. Fortunately, they will still work for my needs and they are definiltely a good deal for the price.
I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the plastic used for the car bodies, and by the detailing - both quite satisfactory for a very inexpensive product.
I would hightly recommend these vehicles as less expensive "filler" cars for model railroad layouts, or other diorama and displays. They are especially suitable as loads for bi and tri-level railroad cars.

Locomotion a Bit Too "Loco"!
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich Chris Sawyer had done yet another great job with graphics in a fun game of transport. I thoroughly enjoyed the creative freedom to design my own landscape, place initial buildings and assemble trains and route scenarios. Unfortunately, as in his other games like Roller Coaster - Chris has failed to allow buyer/players the opportunity to completely control their fate - and instead, subjects them to the quirks and idiosyncracies that he has made a part of the program.
I would have loved the option to create my world at my pace - and just be able to sit back and enjoy it absent the pesky challenges. For example, instead of towns and cities that mulitiply and crowd the landscape like an out of control vine, I would have liked the ability to place buildings at a more leisurely pace and define my own communities. I would also have appreciated trains that moved at a more realistic pace instead of darting around the landscape like a crazed garter snake.
I also found it difficult to get the vehicles in the game to follow my routes and commands - often finding trains and trucks madly off the course I had designated for them. To make matters even worse - the "obsolete" and "break down" features are impossible to turn off - and so one has to suffer with certain desireable objects disappearing - and others breaking down and needing replacement so often - it really makes it impossible to enjoy what one has created. There is something to be said for a model train that doesn't break down every few feet. I don't always want or need a challenge - sometimes I just want to sit back and admire my handiwork - courtesy of Chris' graphics.
While Chris has given us some control in various games - I hope that in the future he will realize that many of us just want the ability to create and enjoy our efforts afterward. Unfortunately, with Locomotion, the best part of the game was designing the landscape. After that, the actual running of the game was tedious and nearly impossible to keep up with - and I lost all interest. That brings an A-rated concept down to a "D" for disappointment!
Chris has some great ideas - I just hope he will give us more options for play in the future!
