Karl Glaser Curved Soprano Saxophone
I ordered this in October 2018. It arrived very quickly from Germany to the UK in a few days, very well packaged.
I was very impressed. It's a really nice little horn. Well made, well finished. Good tone and intonation. For the price, it's excellent value or money, and I'd recommend it for students, or for anyone who needs a reliable gigging horn which sounds excellent and looks much more expensive than it actually is.(I have the black/gold lacquer finish)
My impression is that these are re-badged versions of horns by a well-known Chinese manufacturer, and are slightly more expensive because they are checked/adjusted in Germany before onward sale in the EU. Certainly I didn't have to take it to my Instrument tech for setup, it played beautifully straight out of the box, so there's a potential saving there.
(The last horn I had from China arrived damaged and had to be repaired at considerable cost before I could play it)

In short: Excellent quality and value for money.I've been very impressed. I'll be in the market for a new Tenor later this year and based on my experience with the Soprano, I'll be looking seriously at the Karl Glaser Tenor model.
