You get what you pay for.

I bought this item for camping because of it's size and low power consumption. It was well packed and quickly delivered and I took it camping. I quickly found warming or cooking supermarket pies necessitated turning it up higher than indicated. Accepting this fact I carried on and the results were acceptable. On my return I tested the oven throughout the temperature range with a professional oven thermometer. Basically the thermostatic was calibrated 30 degrees low. I informed the seller and after a couple of emails they agreed to collect the cooker. I decided that for my purposes I couldn't be bothered. I wasn't sure if they were offering a refund or a replacement so I have kept it and accept that I have to turn the stat 30 degrees higher than I want. I didn't want to lose it for the camping season. Having been a thermostat engineer in one of my previous employments I know this is a low-cost item with typically poor quality control checking. Oh well, you get what you pay for, as with everything. However, it does the job, with reservations.
